Heidi Klum returns to her modeling roots in new ad for Project Runway. The show, which supposedly highlights designers, clothing, and fashion, goes with a shocking new ad featuring a baring-it-all Klum.

The former Victoria’s Secret supermodel stands naked, wearing only a severed pink tie and covering herself with her arm that reads “Make It Work.”

“This is definitely sexier than past campaigns we’ve done,” Klum tells People Magazine, “I guess you could say ‘Hans and Franz’ are celebrating season 9.”

Project Runway will return for its 9th season on July 28 to the Lifetime Network. Lifetime general manager, Nancy Dubuc, says this new Klum ad fits perfectly into the new look that the network is trying to achieve.

When most people think of the Lifetime Network they are reminded of made-for-TV movies about women with disfigured faces finding love on the Internet, or women being haunted by the ghost of their ex-husbands prostitute that they killed. But no more, says Dubuc, she wants to move the network in a direction that celebrates female characters that “are at once brazen, strong, confident and sexy.”

The celebrity judges set to appear on the new season include Kim Kardashian, Malin Ackerman, Christina Ricci and Zoe Saldana.

The Emmy-winning series kicks off with 20 designers vying for the coveted 16 spots before Klum, Tim Gunn and judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors.
