Helen Mirren Named Most Stylish Woman Over 50

According to a poll for clothing brand CC, Dame Helen Mirren has been voted the top style icon for women over the age of 50.

1,000 women over 50 were quizzed on who they believe is the most stylish woman and not surprisingly it's Helen Mirren.

Not only is she stylish but 66-year-old Helen Mirren has got a great bod, have you seen her infamous bikini photos, it's like they photoshopped her head onto a 20-year-olds body. It's both unsettling and impressive.

Mirren's top spot on the style list proves that "age isn't a barrier to style or confidence."

According to a spokesperson for the brand, "Dame Helen Mirren has as much style, grace and elegance off screen as she does on it and is a fitting icon for the women of her generation."

"All too often we are bombarded with images of youth and temporary trends, so it's great to see such a varied list filled with women of real class," says CC spokesperson.

Yes, real class indeed. Except for that SNL skit from earlier this year called "Helen Mirren's boobs" where a variety of SNL cast members grabbed Helen Mirren's boobs and talked about how awesome it was. So aside from that JWoww moment for Mirren, she's totally classy.

The rest of the women on the style list include former model Twiggy, 62, "Absolutely Fabulous" star Joanna Lumley, 65, singer Lulu, 63, and Dame Judi Dench, 77.

Surprisingly, 37-year-old Victoria Beckham made the list at #6, meaning that women over the age of 50 really like her style. Somehow, I don't think Beckham is going to be very thrilled by this. Also, have these women seen her latest collection for Victoria Beckham? It's like all minidresses that in order to wear, one must not eat food ever.

"The results show women in their fifties aren't afraid to embrace younger style when they're done the right way," says the brand.
