David Beckham Smolders in London to Debut His H&M Collection
I really should just call these stories, “David Beckham doing things” because I will read anything or look at any photo if David Beckham is in the headline.

Beckham celebrated the official launch of his underwear line at H&M Regent Street in London, England today.

For starters, let’s talk about what he was wearing to the launch event. Beckham has been rocking the studly pompadour look lately and while it’s reminiscent of that movie “Grease,” I’m totally okay with it. Summer Loving? Fine with me.
Versace for H&M Cruise Collection Crashes Website and Other Designer Frenzy
Versace for H&M just launched it’s second collection for the Swedish retailer, it’s Cruise Collection, and because the collection was only available online, it crashed the website last night.

Several hours after the launch, the website went down and H&M tweeted this, “We’re very sorry for the tech problems during today’s #VersaceforHM launch. We’re working on expanding capacity for more visitors.”

Now it seems like everything has sold out, but if you are truly desperate for some of Donatella’s designs, you can get them on eBay for four times the original price.

David Beckham's Underwear Commercial to Debut During Superbowl
Let’s be real, the best part of watching the Super Bowl are all the awesome commercials. Well, that and pizza and buffalo wings. But mostly, the top-of-the-line commercial debuts and now I give the ladies another reason to watch the Super Bowl this year: David Beckham will be half-naked for approximately 30 seconds during the second quarter of the game.

Do I have your attention now? Good. David Beckham will launch his exclusive Bodywear (i.e. underwear) collection with H&M on February 2, 2012 and to launch the debut.

David Beckham Debuts New Underwear Ads for H&M
David Beckham strips down for his new underwear line for H&M. The collection is actually called a "bodywear" line, because he's fancy and British like that, but at the end of the day the photo campaign are basically just images of David Beckham naked except for some tighty whities.

How many girls are going to be browsing the ads in the H&M store and lying about "buying them for their boyfriends?" THIS GIRL.
Versace for H&M Again?
After the mega-successful launch of Versace for H&M, they are doing it again. As in, they are doing Versace for H&M again. Oi. However, this one is a little more low-key and will only be available online.

The second range is the Cruise collection and will launch on January 19 exclusively online. The second collection features a lot of pastels, fruit patterned shirts, dresses, and accessories and lots of fun and flirty clothes for spring.
Sofia Coppola to Direct the Marni for H&M Commercial
Is the world ready for a weepy hipster-hued short film starring some pale faced chick in a Marni dress? Well, like it or not, it's happening.

H&M announced a couple weeks ago that their newest designer collaboration would be with Italian Fashion house Marni, and they are pulling out all the stops by nabbing "Lost in Translation" director Sofia Coppola to direct all the print ads as well as an advertising film that will run on TV, before movies and online.
H&M Announces collaboration with "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
H&M isn't letting up on cranking out one designer collaboration after another, this time the Swedish retailer has teamed up with a movie in a collection of women's clothing inspired by the new movie "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo."

So if you want to dress like an asocial computer hacker, like Lisbeth Salander from "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" then H&M is the choice for you.

The collection launches December 14, and just like the costume design in the film, the H&M collection consists of leather skinny jeans, hoodies (like just the hood, no sweater attached), booties, ripped t-shirts, structured leather jackets, and denim jackets a 'la the films heroine.
H&M Announces Next Designer Collaboration
Currently in the midst of their very successful Versace for H&M collection, the Swedish retailer has announced that their next collaboration will be with Italian fashion house Marni.

H&M released a teaser video which takes audiences in a behind-the-scenes peek at the photo shoot for the new collection with interviews from Marni designer, H&M creative advisor, and style.com experts.

The collection will launch March of 2012 in 260 stores worldwide, and you can expect a kind of “best of” Marni, in the same way that Versace did for their collection.

“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints, says Marni Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni, “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.”
H&M Wants Tom Ford Collaboration
After the mega successful launch of Versace for H&M, the giant retailer has been eyeing a collaboration with Tom Ford.

Tom Ford was once the creative director of Gucci in the 1990’s and really reinvigorated the brand. He left in 2004 to form his own line, Tom Ford International and he also directed the Colin Firth film, “A Single Man.” But really, all you need to know is that Tom Ford has the most perfect 5 o’clock shadow and looks amazing in a suit.

This is not the first time Ford has been rumored to join the brand. Last year a French Tribune article started rumors about a collab, but now it might actually be happening.

When asked if H&M could see a collaboration with Tom Ford, H&M’s creative adviser Margareta Van den Bosch says “Tom Ford is a very interesting name. I can say, I wouldn’t mind.”
Versace for H&M Launch Party Brings In Big Names
Last night was the elaborate launch party for the Versace for H&M collection. The celeb studded event featured a runway collection and after-party that was way over-the-top for a retailer that sells clothes in malls next to food courts.

The collection is what Donatella Versace is describing as a “Versace greatest hits” including replica’s from the Versace archives. Most of the collection is bold and bright patterns that suggest the opulence of retro Versace.

All the stars came out for the event in New York including Jessica Alba, Emma Roberts, Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Abbie Cornish, Selma Blair, Chloe Moretz, Zachary Quinto, Uma Thurman, Zoe Kravitz and more. Even Oprah Winfrey was there. I can only assume she got lost on the way to a White House dinner.

Here’s some of what the stars were saying about the event and about Donatella Versace herself.
