House of Harlow 1960
House of Harlow 1960 style, trends, fashion and news.

It debuted this week at the launch party on Rodeo Dr and it was a huge hit. Nicole’s jewelry collection has the same hippie chic vibe as her regular line and it is affordable!
Most of the pieces are under $100, with earrings on sale for $38, and a hair piece for $98. The collection is definitely eye catching but the two pieces that caught my eyes at first sight were the Onyx Ring for $68 and the Aztec Necklace for $69.
While creating this line, Nicole and Bebe designed a special keepsake bracelet, $25, where some of the portion of sales goes to the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation. Some of the celebrities that have been known to rock House of Harlow 1960 are Madonna, Paris Hilton, Amanda Bynes, and Kim Kardashian. This line is available at all Bebe stores and on bebe.com starting November 12.

Well now you can toss out your dowdy hand-me-down maternity wear for good! Nicole has announced she’ll be partnering up with A Pea in the Pod to design her own line, which is expected to be out by the end of summer!
Nicole announced via her website: “A Pea in the Pod and I joined to create a capsule collection of maternity wear that will be available in stores this summer. Last weekend I shot some images for the campaign with one of my favorite photographers, James White. I’m really excited for you all to see the new collection.”

It has become so popular that Nicole has decided to extend her line to offer clothing and shoes. She will begin work for her second House of Harlow 1960 collection and this season she will have more material.
Even though her items have been so popular, she plans on switching it up next season. She says the new collection is “going to be a totally different line.”
Nicole says the next one “is focusing more on old English, equestrian and more sophisticated looks.” As for her shoe and clothing collection, Nicole says, “I’ve been working really hard on designing and picking the right fabrics for my Spring 2010 line.”
Stay tuned, we have a feeling this is just the beginning of Nicole Richie, the designer!

The line features bags, belts, and accessories, and now shoes. Nicole’s had added 20 different shoe styles for the line. She created the deal with manufacturers Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum, who own multiple brands including Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans.
Rick Cytrynbaum says of the new deal, “Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her… Nicole Richie is by far one of America’s biggest fashion icons right now. We’re investing millions into this brand. This is like nothing out there right now.”
The shoes will be available in spring 2010, so she’ll have a whole year to design them! Click here to see the entire House of Harlow collection!

Nicole turned heads, literally, when she showed up to trendy Robertson Blvd boutique Kitson to launch her new accessory line House of Harlow 1960.
Among the many accessories Nicole was sporting, her beaded gold headpiece was certainly the most popular. Unfortunately she won't be producing too many of these angelic pieces, so grab yours before it goes obsolete.
House of Harlow 1960 Gold Bead Five Strand Head Piece available at Singer 22 for $170.00.
