Designer Jason Wu struck gold when First Lady Michelle Obama wore one of his designs at the Inauguration Ball. That’s when America was officially introduced to the American fashion designer.

Michelle’s dress was white and sort of looked like a wedding dress, so Wu has decided to monetize on that and launch a bridal collection.

He has designed 5 ivory dresses, which will be sold exclusively at net-a-porter.com starting January. The dresses will range from $795 to $4,000.

I love how the prices range from $795 to $4,000, which means that one dress will be $795 and the rest will be $4,000.

The looks will be “both youthful and injected with elements of American sportswear,” Wu tells WWD.

Wu says that the dresses were designed with the altar in mind, but it can also be worn to special occasions. I’m not sure if I would wanna wear my wedding dress to other occasions. That’s the one or several (depending how many times you get married) dress a girl treasures for a lifetime.
