Week in Review: Hit & Misses From The Red Carpet

It’s been a busy week for some of Hollywood’s elite. When actresses or musicians have a new movie or album to promote, they do the media rounds.

It's always exciting because we all get to see some amazing fashion. They wear the best of the best and we goo-goo ga-ga over them.

Let’s take a look at some of this week’s fashion in review.

Jennifer Hudson has been busy promoting her new album, Remember Me, in NYC this week. If we’re going to remember one thing it’s going to be the hot outfits she’s been sporting.

She’s all about Herve Leger and Christian Louboutin and we all know you can’t go wrong with those two designers!

Earlier in the week Hudson was rocking a sequined Hervé Léger by Max Azria printed dress with the newest Louboutin’s to hit the block.

Later in the week when she visited BET’s 106 & Park in New York City was wearing another black long sleeve sequined Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress. This time around she wore nude mary-jane Louboutins. She gets thumbs up and her stylist gets a raise!

One celebrity who should consider firing her stylist is Vanessa Hudgens. Vanessa has been busy doing the PR rounds for her latest flick, Sucker Punch. The movie has been getting horrible reviews and I’m giving her a bad review in the fashion department as well.

She attended the premiere wearing a floral Jenny Packham dress. If she were a 45-year old woman the dress would have been fitting, but she’s only 22.

Last night, Vanessa was at the Nylon magazine 12th anniversary issue party for Sucker Punch. Can we take a moment and look at the socks she was wearing? Hideous! Even if my stylist gave those to me, I would politely give them back and wore something else.

Sorry Vanessa, you get two thumbs down!

Jwoww from the ‘Jersey Shore’ has been busy promoting some sort of product because the Jersey peeps are all about milking their 15 minutes and putting their names on anything and everything.

Earlier in the week she got in touch with her animal instincts while in Miami. The leopard is not such a great look for her because it adds about 10 years to her age. You will be a cougar when you’re 40 Jwoww, so might want to put the breaks on that look.

Last night she went a little more casual while at a party for the ‘Jersey Shore’ finale. Jwoww is any Jersey girl’s dream so I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of people from Jersey duplicating her looks.

I’m not going to give her a thumb up or down because I’m scared she might kick my ass.

Kate Winslet and Evan Rachel Wood were busy promoting their HBO miniseries, Mildred Pierce this week in NYC.

As I wrote earlier this week Evan looked flawless on the carpet in her high slit plum Elie Saab frock, but Kate really disappointed with that hideous peek-a-boo long-sleeve Stella McCartney dress.

Kate gets two thumbs down and Evan gets two thumbs up!

On Thursday, the Olsens and Claire Danes got all dressed up for the Metropolitan Opera's Premiere of 'Le Comte Ory' held at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center. If you are going to the Opera you need to up your game.

The Olsens were dressed like their usual hobo selves. Layers, Layers, Layers! That’s what those twins are all about.

Claire looked great in her black dotted one shouldered gathered Yves Saint Laurent gown.
