Jennifer Lopez's 2011 Style Evolution
December 26, 2011 by: MADISON VANDERBERG

It's clear J.Lo made a huge career comeback and she looked fabulous doing it.
She started the year as a new judge on American Idol and I need to get this one weird outfit out of the way. For an appearance early in 2011 to announce the Idol finalists, Lopez walked the red carpet in black shorts, a cropped lace blouse, and a plaid blazer with short sleeves, so that the blouse underneath hung past the edge of the blazer sleeves. I know this is some kind of okay fashion thing at one point, but I've never understood it.
However, after this faux pas, J.Lo started churning out the red-carpet looks left and right.
J.Lo wore a bright fuscia Gucci gown complete with pink-and-scarlet floral bolero at the Met Gala to honor Alexander McQueen at the opening of his Savage Beauty exhibit at the Met's Costume Institute. While some may say this gown was too over-the-top Lopez pulled it off. Besides, this was for the red carpet at the Alexander McQueen exhibit, a man who once put antlers on a model's head.
Later in the year she performed at the 2011 American Music Awards, donning not one, not two, but three different outfits. She walked the red carpet in a black lace, one-shoudler dress by Zuhair Murad. She then changed into a nude body suit covered in crystals for her performance and afterwards slipped into a tiny silver mini-dress covered in ostrich feathers. It sounds crazy but J.Lo rocked it.
Then in November she was honored at the 2011 Glamour Women of the Year Awards and wore a nude colored floor length gown with a revealing leg slit by Versace.
One thing is for sure, Jennifer Lopez is getting better with age. This woman is on the Benjamin Button plan where she’s aging backwards.
