Capes:
Gwyneth Paltrow started the cape trend with the white Tom Ford cap gown she wore to the 2012 Oscars. Clearly the trend has caught on.
Lana Del Rey: Lana wore a silver Joseph Altuzarra dress with a black cape. Lana walked the red carpet with the designer, who said the look is the “embodiment of her music.”

The Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition. Speaking of impossible - these outfits are a little out there.
Here is the worst dressed list from the 2012 Met Gala:
Mary Kate Olsen: I’m 50% sure that this is Mary Kate and not Ashley, regardless, ½ of the Olsen twins dressed as if she were stopping by the Met Gala on the way to a funeral. She wore a black tunic that did not accentuate any curves, and styled her hair by putting it in a messy bun.
Kirsten Dunst: Maybe she thought she won a walk on role on “Mad Men”? Dunst wore a burnt orange suit dress by Rodarte that might have been awesome for a red carpet if this was the maiden voyage of the Titanic and NOT the Met Gala! C’mon!

The collection is what Donatella Versace is describing as a “Versace greatest hits” including replica’s from the Versace archives. Most of the collection is bold and bright patterns that suggest the opulence of retro Versace.
All the stars came out for the event in New York including Jessica Alba, Emma Roberts, Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Abbie Cornish, Selma Blair, Chloe Moretz, Zachary Quinto, Uma Thurman, Zoe Kravitz and more. Even Oprah Winfrey was there. I can only assume she got lost on the way to a White House dinner.

Beyonce walked the red carpet at last night's VMA's in a bright orange Lanvin one shoulder gown and told photographers, "I have a surprise for you!" and then held her belly while they snapped pictures.
Beyonce is about 3-4 months pregnant with Jay-Z's baby, her husband since 2008. And while she has a bun in the over, that didn't stop her from wearing Rene Caovilla ivory platform heels. Heck, she even danced full out later that night during her performance of "Love On Top."
Other stars who have rocked the red carpet looking gorgeous even with a big belly.

Unless you’re a cast member of Teen Mom, you probably wont look like you did pre-baby.
Currently expecting her second child with Cash Warren, Alba dishes to the mag, “My body’s just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterward. Unless you’re Gisele.”
Gisele Bundchen was already not human before and after her baby.
Jess graces the cover of Latina magazine and she’s probably one of those people that looks better pregnant.
Pregnancy glow is an understatement when speaking about the glow that Jessica has been sporting.
This isn’t the old school braid that we all used to sport back in the first grade. The modern braid is super chic and sexy.

At first glimpse you think, “Oh she looks so cute,” especially because she’s carrying that amazing PRADA mandarino and black madras flap bag from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection.
Then things take a turn for the worse when you look at her shoes. I was in belief with the shoes she was wearing.
For a second there, I thought they were special “pregnancy shoes,” but after further research I learned that Prada is guilty of those green+black striped peep-toe espadrille wedges.
Prada’s spring 2011 collection of handbags are amazing, but their shoes are all a big disappointment!
I just can’t believe someone would pay a few hundred dollars for those shoes. Actually, I can’t believe Prada would actually make them.
They’re those platform shoes that they are trying so desperately to bring into style. Don’t give in guys, don’t give in! If you ignore them, they will go away.
