Jessica Biel Sells Mascara With Pharrell Williams

There’s a new project starring Jessica Biel, directed by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan and The Wrestler) and with music by Pharrell. What could this awesome collaboration be? You guessed it…a mascara commercial.

Say what?!

Yes, the combined talents of Pharrell, Aronofsky, and Biel were wasted on a Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara commercial.

In actuality, it’s a pretty cool commercial. It seems more like a music video than a spot for a grocery-store brand of mascara.

The black and white film-noir inspired spot features Pharrell navigating his way through a hallway trying to make his way to Biel's bedroom where she is (surprise) putting on mascara.

Pharrell wrote the original music for the commercial, which include such lyrics as, “You look at me, you blink those eyes. You plump it up, I’m hypnotized…”

Jessica Biel may have used this commercial as a way to get in the good graces of Oscar nominated Aronofsky. “I’d love to do a film with him,” Jessica told The Hollywood Reporter about Darren. “It was the beginning of our relationship.”

Biel wants to be in the Black Swan Sequel real bad.
