Elizabeth Taylor's Old Jewelry Sells For $200 Million
Talk about a successful garage sale.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor passed away in March 2011 and since then her entire estate of fashion, artwork, and jewelry has been auctioned off in New York and London, with the final gavel dropping last night ending the auction process that lasted several months.

More that 1,800 items went for sale including Vincent Van Gogh paintings and a 33.19-carat diamond ring given to Taylor by Richard Burton.

First thing first, which jewelry collection is this? Because I know Jessica Simpson’s got like 5, most of which I’m going to assume are sold on QVC? This is only a guess, but I’m probably right.

Anyways, Simpson just designed an accessories line for Zales and says every piece is all her.

“This collection has allowed me to create pieces that truly reflect who I am. The pieces can become a keepsake for life,” admits the singer turned actress turned designer turned pregnant lady.

Details on Britney Spears' Engagement Ring
Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane tells People magazine that Jason Trawick designed Britney's engagement ring because she is his "everyday princess," and needed a ring fit for royalty.

Oi vey. Anyways, Trawick worked very closely with Neil Lane to create from scratch, an engagement ring that evoked the thoughts of tiaras and pretty pretty princesses.

"Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what they ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same - she is his princess!" says Neil Lane himself.

After Anne Hathaway debuted that glittering iceberg she calls an engagement ring, we all wanted more details about the ring. Because who gets engaged without all her girlfriends screaming, "Let me see the ring!"

Hathaway's fiance, Adam Shulman is actually a jewelry designer himself, he enlisted the help of Kwiat Diamond and Fine Jewelry, because only the best for Annne Hathaway.

Shulman founded the James Banks jewelry line in 2011 with jeweler Heidi Nahser Fink, but went with Kwiat for Anne's special ring.

"We've known [Adam] for a long time," says Greg Kwiat, "and when he thought of proposing and buying an engagement ring, he though of Kwiat. Adam just wanted something beautiful, timeless and special."

Jessica Simpson is expanding her billion dollar fashion empire. The soon-to-be married star is launching a fine jewelry collection that will focus on one of her favorite things: diamond! Who doesn’t love diamonds, right?

Jessica will launch ‘Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend’ collection at Zales and Zales outlets this October.

“Jewelry is such personal expression of style and taste. This collection has allowed me to create pieces that truly reflect who I am, and that can become a keepsake for lifetime,” Simpson tells WWD.

Kate Hudson dropped a bomb on Matt Lauer this morning when she showed up to the set of ‘The Today Show’ wearing an engagement ring.

Matt immediately noticed and Kate joked that she was not going to officially announce anything and just wait for someone to notice. Oh, leave it to Matt to notice the sparkler.

Who wouldn’t notice that thing on her finger? It’s HUGE!

Her new bling is a platinum-set ring with emerald-cut diamond baguettes on the side.

The sparkler is reportedly a whopping 9-carats and valued at $200,000.
