Tamara Mellon Quits Jimmy Choo
Tamara Mellon, who co-founded the footwear brand alongside Jimmy Choo himself has stepped down as Chief Creative Officer of the iconic shoe brand.

Once the Jimmy Choo brand was integrated with the private Italian luxury goods group Labelux, the 44-year-old entrepreneur decided it was time to go. Since the brands $800 million acquisition by Labelux, Mellon has had waning interest in the brand. Another higher-up in the company, current Chief Executive Joshua Schulman will also leave Jimmy Choo in early 2012.

Labelux has also recently purchased Derek Lam and Bally among other luxury labels.

Talking about the split with Mellon, Labelux’s chief executive Reinhard Mieck told the Financial Times, “Jimmy Choo is an outstanding brand with an enormous growth potential and the ability to deliver material growth synergies across our group. With a successful transition behind them, we respect their wish to move on to other challenges.”
Sneak Peek at Versace for H&M
Everyone once in a while a major fashion line will collaborate with stores us regular folks can actually afford. When this happens it’s like the clouds part in the sky and the fashion gods smile down on us commoners. That time has come again.

We reported back in June that Versace is coming to H&M and we now finally have a sneak peak at the collection. New photos of the collection were published in Vogue Russia, and the clothes are as Versace as it gets. Seriously, you would never be able to tell that they were made specifically for H&M.

There are bright colors, crazy prints and some amazing leather jackets. And if you’re not into their bright, bold designs, there will also be some amazing jewelry. Big, gold gaudy jewelry. Very Versace.

The collection is set to hit H&M store this November. H&M has collaborated with some amazing lines in the last few years.

Kristen Stewart Has Come a Long Way!
Whoa! Kristen Stewart looked bangin’ last night at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.

K Stew was sporting a really short Reem Acra dress matched with sky-high Jimmy Choo peep toe sling-back pumps. Love the shoes!

2011 People's Choice Awards Winners List

After years and years of looking really uncomfortable on the red carpet, Kristen is finally maturing. She’s standing much more confidently which makes her look much better. That’s probably why I even noticed her hot dress.

Kristen definitely looked hotter than the model. She wore the dress much more confidently and we all know that confidence is key.

Thumbs up Kristen! You’ve come a looooooong way.
Jimmy Choo Coming to H&M!
Attention fashion lovers, the shoe Gods have smiled down on us and Jimmy Choo will soon be affordable and available at an H&M store near you!

Jimmy Choo, mostly known for their gorgeous (and very expensive) shoes, will be available at H&M stores starting November 14th. And it's not just shoes, handbags and accessories will also be available.

"Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!" Tamara Mellon, the founder and president of Jimmy Choo, said in a press release.

According to the NYDN, The 12 women's shoe styles available at H&M will range from $59.95 for ballet flats to $299 for a pair of leather boots. The stilettos' prices fall between $99 and $129.

Past collaborations between the H&M and designers include collections by Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli and Karl Lagerfeld.

We're so excited about this collaboration, we may not get a good nights sleep until the collection is available! $99 for a pair of Jimmy Choo stilettos? It's like dying and going to shoe heaven.

Jimmy Choo Founder Sues Her Mother

Shoe giant Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon is sueing her mother Ann Yeardye for $10 million dollars claiming that she is holding stock that no longer belongs to her.

Mellon says, "I am baffled by my mother's refusal to return assets which rightfully do not belong to her."

Mellon, who is dating actor Christian Slater, sold her company back in 2004 after her line became wildly popular among celebrities, fashionistas, and socialites.
