Haute Couture Fashion Week is always so amusing. Some Most of the stuff that you see come down the runway are just ridiculous.

Haute Couture is more of artwork than something you would see someone wearing.

Christian Dior had its Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 runway show during Paris Fashion Week and this was the first couture show without former designer John Galliano.

Bill Gaytten was named the successor John Galliano’s label last week. The two worked together for 23 years.

Unfortunately, the Dior Couture show didn’t get the best of reviews.

“Every house needs a point of view and it has to come from the designer – sadly that’s what was lacking in today’s show,” said Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers after the show.

The show was really disappointing, but to his defense there was a lot of pressure on him. I’m sure he will get the hang of things in the coming fashion weeks.
