Naked Julianne Moore Too Sexy for Italy

And we thought Americans were prudes! Julianne Moore looks super sexy in her latest Bulgari ad…but it’s been deemed too sexy by the country of Italy.

According to the Telegraph, the ad, which features a nude Moore covered only by a leather handbag and a couple of lion cubs, has been banned in Venice.

The billboard was supposed to be placed overlooking St. Mark’s Square, but the mayor has decided it’s not appropriate. Instead, a different ad will hang in its place: one of a fully clothed Julianne, wearing Bulgari jewels.

Mayor Giorgio Orsoni told Italian news media, "An advertisement showing a nude woman on a divan is not appropriate for St Mark's Square."
