Justin Timberlake to Launch Playful Givenchy Scent

Justin Timberlake is one busy guy. This week alone, Hollyscoop has reported his plans to write a golf-inspired book, and that he’s in the running to play the lead in Green Lantern. As if JT doesn’t already have enough on his plate, the “SexyBack” singer has announced that he is going to continue to be the face of Givenchy fragrances “Play” and “Play Intense” when it launches in September in the U.S. Having already been fronting the brand for a year in Europe, J.T. is clearly comfortable promoting the product. Now not only will he look good, he’ll smell great too!

According to WWD, the fragrance will include notes of bitter orange, grapefruit, black pepper and patchouli; the Intense version features bergamot, tangerine, pink pepper, vetiver, tonka bean and patchouli. Yum!

As far as Justin creating his own scent one day, he tells Women’s Wear Daily, "I don't know that I would be completely comfortable with a my-name fragrance. It feels like cheating, almost. It doesn't seem like you're creating anything. I could see doing a William Rast fragrance, but that's as far as I think I'll take it.” The bottles for the Givenchy fragrances are also cleverly designed to resemble a MP3 player. How perfect that JT be the face of the brand?! Givenchy “Play” and “Play Intense” is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette or 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
