Kanye West Wants His Own Topshop Collection

In case you don’t know what Topshop is, imagine a combination of H&M, Target and Macy’s, place it in the UK and then make it better than all the stores I just described.

So that’s that, and Kanye West wants to launch his own collection within the store, because in case you also forgot, Kanye West is a "designer."

Also, when celebrities want something, don’t question it. Okay? Justin Bieber designs lady perfumes, that’s just the way the universe is.

Kanye West was reportedly spotted having lunch inside Harrods with Topshop boss Sir Philip Green earlier this week. And since we know that “lunch” in Hollywood means “business meeting” we can assume Kanye was trying to work his magic and get a collection into Topshop.

“Kanye has wanted to work with Sir Philip Green for some time. They were in the restaurant for several hours tossing ideas back and forth,” says a source.

The source must be a very informed busboy.

The source continues, “Kanye is obsessed with the female shape so if he did a range it would be pretty revealing – not for wallflowers.”

However, Philip Green insists that the two were just grabbing lunch and not talking fashion at all.

He told the Daily Mirror, “I had lunch with him and sorry, do I have to report who I have lunch with in the Daily Mirror? He was very hungry. So was I. That’s what happens at lunchtime. There was no conversation going on. He’s a friend of my son.”

And the award for worst excuse of the year goes to Sir Philip Green with his, “that’s what happens at lunchtime” comment! Congratulations, the prize is a date with Kanye West.
