Lagerfeld kept to the basics of the house and stayed within the black and white palate. Everything from long Chanel to super short Chanel was dripping in the houses classic black and white.
The entire room was all white and adorend with Chanel's classic cut-out flowers. In a time where the world is at its most dark, Lagerfeld did a collection of mostly all white, symbolizing the hope of things to come. Metaphorically speaking he's starting fresh...and fresh it was!
All the clothes were unbelievably crisp with unbelievable Parisian tailoring. Lagerfeld proves that one does not need vibrant colors to make a splash, or even colors at all. That is why we have no doubt that this collection will be seen on the red carpet and knocked off at a rack near you.
Not only does Karl know how to do it...he knows how to do it well.
