Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with British brand “I Love Dust” to create a limited edition range of t-shirts inspired by himself.

Who better to design a shirt inspired by his own self other than Karl Lagerfeld? That guy probably wears underwear with his own face on it. “I only sleep in ze best. Mah face!”

Using his Karl label, the designer will create four t-shirts with patterns featuring letters making up his face.

“Designing limited-edition T-shirts for someone like Karl Lagerfeld is every graphic designer’s dream,” says Mark Graham, founder of I Love Dust.

The shirts will feature some of Karl’s best one-liners, like “Sunglasses are like eyeshadow: They make everything look pretty and younger,” and also, “I never smoke” and “Better to have a split personality than no personality at all.”

I just hope they leave out some of Karl’s more out-there quotes like when he called Adele “a little too fat” or his theory on hookers, “I’m rather pro-prostitution. I admirer people who do it. It can’t be much fun. Thank goodness for it. People need relief or they become murders.”

The shirts will retail for $95 each, and the last time Lagerfeld designed tees for his Karl collection at the same price, they were really popular.

The shirts will go on sale on his website karl.com, at Colette in Paris, and at a pop up shop in New York.
