Starlets Wear Inspiring Fashions to amfAR Galas
Let’s talk the fashions at amfAR for a second (or forever). The American Foundation for AIDS Research, the leading organization devoted to raising awareness and funding for HIV/AIDS research, always brings out some off the hottest designs courtesy its star-studded galas and the charity galas across the country and Atlantic pond to Europe this past week were no exception.

At the L.A. amfAR Inspiration event hosted at Milk Studios, head turners came in the stunning shapes of Kate Hudson, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Kate stepped out in a gorgeous coral Prabal Gurung with cutout shoulders and low-cut neckline. Its sleekness on her svelte body highlighted by the reddish hue made this the cutest red ribbon in dress form on the red carpet.

Brazilian supermodel and Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra stunned when she swept in wearing a Zuhair Murad gown featuring careful and black lace with a revealing back strapped in velvet.

SJP, however, maybe wanting to keep the night’s message in 20/20 focus and not wanting to eclipse it with, say an over-the-top Sex and The City hat erred on the side of classic and simple in a chic black Chanel, but still fun and flirty as a jumpsuit.

Her HBO co-star Kristin Davis channeled a similar sentiment in a navy vintage Antonio Castillo for Lavin dress from Decades.

Off the carpet and on the stage, Katy Perry who was the entertainment of the night performed in a Naeem Khan spring/summer 2012 gown that was soft, romantic, and again, paid homage to the amfAR with pink-red petals on the floral lace material.
