Kate Middleton’s catwalk dress sold for a whopping $125,884 at the Kerry Taylor Auction. Beat that Justin Bieber!
Kate wore the sheer sexy dress over a swimsuit back in 2002 at the St. Andrews University fashion show.
The dress was designed by Charlotte Todd for her university coursework reportedly cost less than $50 to make.
Charlotte Todd told People Magazine that her assignment "was called 'The Art of Seduction,' which is quite apt, really. I didn't know who Kate Middleton was and I didn't put her in it. It was just pure chance!"
Art of Seduction indeed! This event was where Prince William laid his eyes on Kate and well…the rest is history!
