Rumor Control: Is Alexander McQueen Designing Kate Middleton\'s Wedding Dress?
It would be any designers dream to create a dress for the royal wedding, and rumor had it that Kate Middleton had chosen an Alexander McQueen dress for her April nuptials. But is there any truth to the rumor?

London's Sunday Times reported this weekend that Alexander McQueen creative director, Sarah Burton, has won the high profile gig, but we soon learned it was nothing but a rumor.

Not only is Alexander McQueen's CEO, Jonathan Akeroyd, denying it, but so is Burton herself.

"I am not doing it," insisted Burton to Vogue.com.

"No, not at all," added Akeroyd. "I'm the CEO, I would know if we were doing it."

They were so quick to deny the story the rumor barely got legs. This is the kind of rumor you're supposed to let spread for a while, what an honor to design the future Princess' dress! It's not like they were rumored to design a dress for Courtney Love--it's freaking Kate Middleton!

So who will design the royal gown? So far, it's up in the air. Who would you love to see Kate get married in?
