Kate Moss, Karmen Pedaru and Sean O’Pry star in a new short film for the Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2012 campaign, but really, this moving ad is all about Moss.
Have you ever seen Kate Moss look so regal? I mean, she’s hot, but in these ads she’s ditched her wispy blonde locks for a slick bun and very striking yet demure make-up.
The commercial is a “story of pure seduction and mystery [as it] unravels within Berlin’s gilded Russia embassy,” the Brand released in a statement.
Kate, Karmen and Sean play “two different souls of a sensual and refined woman and a rigorous and cosmopolitan man who cross paths.”
Karmen is the perfect antithesis to Kate Moss’s dramatic beauty, Karmen portrays a very simple and classic beauty while Sean is the model of male Adonis perfection, walking a fine line between terribly beautiful and an handsome man.
The collection itself is full of dark hued gowns, covered in ornate gold and lace detailing and with a heavy and nearly goth inspiration.
The video was directed by famed fashion photographer Mikael Jansson in Berlin’s gilded Russia embassy, and gives off a feel from a very different era.
The video tells a story of “an extraordinary locale, rich atmosphere and intensely luxurious and chic style.”
