Kate looks stunning on the cover and almost unrecognizable. Her makeup is so drastic and her eye color stands out hence why she doesn’t look like herself. Oh and the fact that she’s sporting really short hair on the cover.
In the mag, Kate opens up about her divorce to director Sam Mendes, which is really the first time she’s talked about the breakup. She says it was a really tough thing for both of them. The two were married for 7 years and had two kids together. Their divorce surprised a lot of people because it felt like it came out of nowhere.
Kate also discusses modern families and the future. She says that she’s excited for what the future holds for her even though it’s sort of complicated.

Christina Hendricks: When does Christina Hendricks not look amazing? Never. Ever. You could put her in a paper bag and that red hair and those curves will always make it work. Exuding Old Hollywood glamour, Hendricks was wearing a custom made rose and gold Johanna Johnson dress set with Swarovski stones, Christian Louboutin shoes, a Judith Lieber clutch and Palladium jewelry.
Lea Michele: Michele was dressed head to toe in red-carpet red. She looked elegant and confident in Marchesa.

Winslet is no stranger to getting into her birthday suit if a role calls for it, but that doesn’t mean she’s always comfortable baring it all for the camera.
Mario Testino is most known for photographing the world’s most beautiful people for fashion publications such as Vogue and Vanity Fair, and most recently photographing the Royal Wedding engagement photos.

St. John has a new celebrity face attached to their label.
Kate Winslet has signed on to be the new face of the luxury brand for their fall campaign.
Kate will be shooting the ads today in New Jersey with photographer Craig McDean.
Angelina Jolie was previously the face of St. John and she’s actually responsible for putting the brand back on the map. Let’s get real, no one but our moms knew what St. John was before Angie became the endorser.
Do you guys think Kate will be able to outdo Angie? She has some big shoes to fill, but I’m sure she will look great.

Kate probably thought she was going to walk that carpet and get all sorts of attention with her peek-a-boo long-sleeve Stella McCartney dress, but unfortunately, the dress left people scratching their heads and wondering, “Why would she wear that?” Don't get me wrong, Kate is beautiful and it's hard for her to look bad, but she could have done without those side polka dots.
Evan Rachel Wood, looked flawless on the carpet in her high slit plum Elie Saab frock and her long flowy hair. Sure, it was a tad obvious she had extensions in, but her hair looked great nevertheless! Evan has clearly come a long way since her goth wannabe Dita Von Teese days.
Kate plays Evan’s mother on the HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce and that’s never easy for an actress that was playing the daughter just a few years ago. Maybe that’s why Kate wore sexy dress? But it backfired with those polka dots.

Kate took a page of our Rihanna's book and shed her clothes for a beauty campaign--Lancôme.
In the ads, shot by Mario Testino, Kate models Lancôme's new lipstick collection, L'Absolu Nu. But of course no one will be paying attention to her lip color.
The video features Kate in a white glowing room, wearing nothing but a silky bedsheet during a phone conversation.

Two thousand women were polled in the UK and asked which celebrity they’d most like to switch bodies with. And we’re pleasantly surprised by the majority vote! Kate won 16% of the women’s votes, beating the gorgeous Kelly Brook who took second.
Halle Berry comes in at third with 12% of the vote. Dr Jacquie Lavin, head of nutrition at Slimming World, which commissioned the poll, says there’s something to be said about the women at the top of the list: “It shows a positive shift that women are more likely to see Kate Winslet and Kelly Brook as the ideal body shape rather than Kate Moss or Victoria Beckham.”
“It perhaps suggests that it is not being "skinny" that is most important to them anymore, it is being healthy,” she continues. “However, there still remains a great deal of pressure on women to conform to an unrealistic ideal and our survey showed that a massive 85 per cent of women are at least occasionally unhappy with their weight.”
