In new ads for the brand H. Stern, Holmes is photographed waist-up wearing nothing but a bra, and covering herself only with her arm. It's really unsettling. Where is the Katie Holmes I used to know?! I'm used to Katie Holmes with a bowl cut hairstyle and Tom Cruise not letting her talk.

I know what you are thinking, sheer and polka dots? It's kind of like for when you can't make up your mind if you want to be sexy or dress like a school-teacher. Show 'em a little skin and then throw them off-base with the ruffles and polka-dots. I get it, I get it.

Many people don't know that Katie Holmes has her own Made-In-The-USA clothing line called "Holmes and Yang" and Victoria Beckham obviously created her own Victoria Beckham line which is proving to be very successful.
So when Katie Holmes is about to go out, she says she consults with Beckham first.

Beyonce: Ok, Beyonce also rocks the red carpet, but while her dress may have said, “I’m gorgeous” it also said, “I’m pregnant.” Yep, true story, Beyonce has a baby Bey in her B’oven. Beyonce stunned in a one-sleeved floor length orange gown and held her stomach in a way that said “I’m with child!” And while it could have also meant “I have gas,” we’re gonna go with the former.
Selena Gomez: Selena, who has been working overtime to shed her Disney channel image was super hot in a black Julien Macdonald dress with train, gold Brian Atwood heels, and gold Judith Leiber clutch and Ofira Jewelry. At 19 years old she looked amazing, but is this really age appropriate? Actually yes, it is age appropriate. Compared to the Miley Cyrus/Taylor Momsen side boob standards, Gomez is practically a nun.

When I think Katie Holmes I think Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Ralph Lauren--so this totally makes sense.
Holmes will be featured in all their ads for their spring 2011 collection and will be in magazines starting March.
She says, “I've been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl. I grew up loving the clothes…and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in.”
She used to wear Ann Taylor as a young girl? She's going a little too far trying to sell the brand. You already booked the job, girl!

Harry Potter star Emma Watson shocked the world when she chopped of her long locks recently, but it was a long time coming. The actress tweeted, “I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like."
We must say, we do like! She’s got such an angelic face and delicate features, and the shorn locks fit her nicely. Another young actress sporting the pixie is Carey Mulligan, who debuted it at the 2010 Oscars. And just this week, actress Anne Hathaway was spotted sporting the hot look in Paris while on the set of her new film “one Day.” We prefer the longer dark locks on her personally, but don’t worry because hers is just a wig for the movie!
Before you whip out those sheers, you should know this hair trend is not easy to pull off. Celebrity hairstylist Byron Williams from Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills tells Hollyscoop, "To get the pixie cut you need to first look at the bone structure of the face, make sure you have a good jaw and neck line, yet petite features."
In addition it is easy to take care of. "To maintain the pixie cut, you need to get it cut every 4 weeks,” says Byron.
But once you have it, you’re golden! Williams explained, “It is the easiest haircut to have, just wash and go. Maybe run a little textured cream through your hair."
Other stars that have sported “the pixie” in the past includes Natalie Portman, Halle Berry, Rihanna, Katie Holmes, Keira Knightley and Victoria Beckham.

Katie, who has been slacking in the fashion department lately, partnered with her stylist and friend Jeanne Yang for the fashion line. Guess both have been slacking lately.

“We want to create pieces a woman can wear over and over, and people won’t necessarily say, ‘Oh, you wore that last week,’” Holmes says.
Holmes & Yang is not just any ordinary brand. Their clothes must be made out of gold because the prices are just ridiculous. Just to give you an example, one blouse costs $945.
Clearly, they are not targeting most of America but only the elite. Their clients include Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Eva Mendes.

Let’s take a look back at Katie’s style throughout the years. She was always very girl-next-door growing up. But when she met Tom Cruise and started hanging around Hollywood A-listers such as the Beckhams, the Smiths and Jennifer Lopez, she started dressing like the A-lister she became overnight.
Suri Cruise Picks Out Katie's Clothes
Katie’s style made headlines when she chopped off her never-before-groomed hair into a bob. After that, she completely changed the way she dressed as well.
She started wearing top designers at A-list Hollywood events and was instatntly on everyone’s best-dressed list.
Fast-forward 2 years and she’s back to her plain Jane ways. We weren't impressed at all with her gray strapless she picked for the Tony Awards last night. It looked like a get-up Suri would wear during a game of dress-up.
Katie Holmes: Can't Touch This!
Katie either fired her stylist, hairstylist, makeup artist or Suri completely took her style away from her. She just needs to realize she can still be a stylish Hollywood mom! That doesn't mean she has to go back to being gaga over couture, but on the flip side, we'd appreciate if she took some notes from fellow hot Hollywood moms like Gwen Stefani or Nicole Richie.
And while Katie's at it...we love you Jennifer Garner, but your streetwear style makes us cringe!
