The stars love the Coachella Music Festival. Lindsay Lohan was sober partying at the music fest, Gerard Butler was sipping on water bottles and dancing with friends, but where did the rest of Hollywood get down in valley? At the Lacoste L!ve Pool Party at Coachella presented by HTC.

The fashion party took place at a private estate near the music festival and attracted celeb guests like “Glee” stars and real life lovers Lea Michele and Cory Monteith.

Karl Lagerfeld presented an especially icy Fall 2012 Chanel collection. Models like Cara Delevingne and Miranda Kerr stomped out down the runway, emerging from a sort of crystal ice cave and a ground covered to look like snow.

A good portion of the collection was a reinvention of the traditional tweed boucle suit. Hoods were added and tweed jackets were turned into jacquard parkas with peplum hips and paired with straight-legged tweed slacks to reinvigorate the traditional suit silhouette.

Katy Perry: Katy Perry still has blue hair, and while it’s starting to look like bottom-of-the-fishtank blue, she paired her aqua hair with a soft pale blue Elie Saab gown covered in blue rhinestones. This is honestly her most grown-up red carpet look ever. She’s usually dressed like a smurf, or a 1950’s waitress, or an anime cartoon, so it was nice to see Katy looking so elegant.

Katy Perry’s split has got her singing the blues…well dying her hair blue, at least. They say that after a break-up women will dye their hair to signify, “moving on,” Katy Perry might be doing this but mostly, she had to dye her head blue for an Adidas commercial.
