How Kim Kardashian Gets Bikini Ready for Summer
You can’t be photographed romping around tropical beaches with your NBA player fiancé and not have a perfect bikini body.

Thankfully, Kim Kardashian does.

Kim tells PEOPLE how she gets into her best shape for summertime.

Kim chooses bathing suits that flatter her figure. Make sense right? “I am large on the bottom so I prefer a tie bottom because it is adjustable. I pair it with a halter top and a cute wrap because it covers the area with a sarong.” Work with what we got. Perfect.

But if you don’t want to just choose a flattering swimsuit, Kim suggests working out for several weeks before getting into a bikini. “That will make you look better,” but most importantly, “give you more confidence.” What Kim doesn’t tell you is she also diligently attends Barry’s Bootcamp.

Easiest rule to follow: Kim recommends drinking lots of water. “It helps you look younger and healthier.”

Because bathing suits are skimpy, Kim likes to accessorize with hats and jewelry, “Accessories dress up any bikini and cover-up” she explains.

Kim suggests getting a spray tan at the start of summer. Kim uses Sally Hansen products, “because the tan looks real.” She also likes shimmering body lotion such as Scott Barnes Body Bling.

One thing Kim forgot to mention is wearing heels. Adding heels to a bikini is a great idea 50% of the time. The other half of the time? Showing up to the YMCA in a bikini and pumps is ridiculous.
