Conrad launched her clothing line back in 2007 following her success on the popular reality show The Hills, but her prices left consumers running for the hills instead.
Conrad has pulled all plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the immediate future.
Her rep tells Page Six, "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
Trendy boutiques like Kitson on Robertson Blvd already dropped her collection late last year. Don't feel too bad for Lauren though, she reportedly makes $75,000 an episode for The Hills, so she's not lacking in the paycheck department.

She and pal Adrienne Baravetto have co-designed a collection of glitzy party dresses under the name Eve & A.
It's a high-end collection, and definitely fun and flirty, similar to Whit's style on The Hills. Very un- DVF, which is where Whitney is working at the moment.
Only downfall is the price. Dresses are anywhere from $345 up to $500. What's with these Hills girls thinking they can charge so much right off the bat? We hope the same thing doesn't happen to Whitney as it did to LC, but that might be the case. Check out the collection at shopkitson.com.

A source tells Hollyscoop that "Lindsay and Samantha loved the bracelet because they thought it had a vintage look." The pair also liked the fact that they could lock in their love and were obsessed with the symbolism!
Wanna get locked in love like Hollywood's hottest lovebirds? Well your in luck! You can find the first run at Kitson. The 18k Yellow Gold that Lindsey had to have will run you about $170, and the Sterling Silver Samantha savored is about $150. They say you can't buy love, but I guess these two have figured out a way to prove us all wrong! XO XO

Owner Fraser Ross tells nymag.com, "Initially it was great," adding that he tried to get her to show up for in store appearances to help the line sell, but due to scheduling conflicts, it never happened.
He adds, "They need to realize it's no different than selling your album, your TV shows, your movies. You have to keep promoting it."
He also confirmed that they will not be carrying Victoria Beckham's menswear collection, because quite frankly, no one is interested in buying it.
What’s the point of buying celebrity driven fashion lines at high end boutiques when its going to end up at Loehmann's or Marshall's in a few months for a fraction of the price.

He said, "We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell."
Coincidently, Victoria made an appearance at Kitson this afternoon to do some shopping. Maybe she was checking to see if her line was still sold there?
