Gwen Stefani on Fashion: It's Not That Serious!

Gwen Stefani has had her L.A.M.B clothing line since 2004. Gwen is known to be one of the most influential style icons in the business, but if you think she got into the fashion industry because it was a childhood dream, you are wrong.

In an interview with CNN, Gwen says that the reason she launched a fashion label is because she didn’t know how long she would be in the music industry.

"I started the line honestly because nine or 10 years ago I didn't know how long I would be doing music. They ask you 'What are you going to do in 10 years,' and I didn't know, I just thought by then I want to have a family and I'm not going to be doing music but I wanted to do something creative," she says.

When it comes to designing, Gwen says it’s all about having fun.

"For me it's not that deep," says Stefani. "For me the line is genuinely for myself. I want to make a line of clothes that I want to wear -- it's kind of selfish…I'm not going to ever be a Vivienne Westwood. I'm trying to make clothes to wear everyday, that's what LAMB is. It's not a couture line."

Gwen has had “interesting style” throughout the years. I have to admit, not all of them were great (I'm trying to forget the blue hair phase), but what I love about Gwen is her trademark blonde hair and red lips. She makes any outfit look great with that look.

Take a look back at Gwen's fashion throughout the years below.
