Trend Alert: Fanny Packs Making a Comeback!

Designers need to get a bit more creative. They keep trying to bring back trends from the dead, but they need to realize that consumers would rather have some trends just die--and stay buried.

First, it was the hideous platforms and now it’s the fanny packs. Yup, fanny packs are making a comeback!

The only people I see wearing fanny packs these days are tourists that are just asking to get robbed. But by the time summer rolls around, Hollywood socialites and fashionistas around the world will be sporting the recycled trend.

The good news is that they have revamped it a lot and they don’t look as cheesy like they used to in the old days. You know, like the ones you and I owned in the 90's. Now we get to choose from bedazzled, neon and metal chained fanny packs.

So are fanny packs the new side bags? It’s looking like they are!
