Here are some Holiday Fashion tips from the girl who made “wearing dresses to work” a thing, Lauren Conrad.
“During holiday parties I end up recycling a lot of my cocktail dresses, and just wearing a layering piece, like a blazer and tights, with it,” the reality TV star turn fashion icon says.

But the LC project we really love is her Paper Crown line that debuted at Nordstroms this year. Paper Crown is the upscale, high-rent version to her LC Lauren Conrad Collection for Kohls. So far she has three collections for the brand, which feature pretty outfits for professional young women. Lauren Conrad's personal style is perfectly captured in Paper Crown, especially in the new Pre-Spring 2012 collection.
Hollyscoop's sister site Modamob caught up with Lauren at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic where she reveals that her newest collection is already gearing up for bikini weather. <

The Hills star is set to release her fourth novel, The Fame Game, on April 3, 2012. The novel follows Madison Parker, the main character from Conrad’s original L.A. Candy trilogy, who discovers Hollywood isn’t as glamorous as she thought it was.
Which means she probably runs into some deranged bums and weirdos who dress like Jesus for no apparent reason.
“The tone is going to be slightly darker,” Lauren Conrad revealed. “The first book was written through the eyes of someone who had never been to Hollywood before, who never really aspired toward fame or money. This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted."

While her former co-star Kristen Cavallari has been busy ballroom dancing with other c-list celebs, and Audrina is not-busy watching her own show get cancelled, Lauren Conrad has been HUSTLING!
Since Lauren split with her longtime boyfriend Kyle Howard in June, LC has been putting all her energy into beautifying America. She just launched TheBeautyDepartment.com with her hairstylist and make-up artist, which is a blog that tells you how to blowdry your hair and pluck your eyebrows, I'm so serious.

Lauren lightened things once again and it was all because of a poll she had on her personal website.

The one-time Hills star is set to launch her new clothing line Paper Crown this fall, but MTV passed on her reality spin-off show that followed the making of Paper Crown.
However, with MTV’s lineup of shows including such cinematic feats like, “Jersey Shore” and “16 and Pregnant,” Conrad’s show was said to be “too high brow” for the network.

Lauren has announced the launch of a beauty blog called TheBeautyDepartment.com.
Conrad told Allure: "The site will offer beauty tips: how to do the hottest runway tricks. How to wear purple eyeliner. How to do beach curls. The idea is to eventually roll out a cosmetics and hair line."
Lauren is also working on her new reality show. She’s not exactly sure where it’s gonna air or when since MTV passed on the show. Those days of long blank stares are over for MTV. Now they are all about the trashtastic television like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom.

Are we digging it? It looks nice, but she definitely stands out more as a blonde.
Maybe Lauren was trying to get away from that dumb blonde stigma once and for all!
I’ll bet that once summer rolls around we’re going to see Lauren back to the amazing beachy blonde color that looks so good on her. After all, blondes do have more fun! Obviously I’m biased, since I pay a lot of money every month to be a fake blonde. So I better be having more fun!
