Lauren Conrad Debuts Spring 09 Collection

'The Hills' cutie Lauren Conrad debuted her much anticipated 2009 Spring Collection this past week during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in LA.

Our Hollyscoop correspondent Chelsea Cannell caught up with the reality show turned designer backstage just moments before the show to find out what we would expect from her line.

"It's very girly. We had a lot of fun with it," said Lauren. "There's a floral print, a lot of floral headpieces, a lot of jeweled headpieces. We added a few more fabrics, a chiffon and a jersey, which are new."

On her inspiration, Lauren said, "It was 50's inspired as far as the silhouette goes, but we tied in the boho chic with a lot of the maxi's and the gauze and the chiffon."

As far as expanding her line to shoes and or accessories Lauren said, "I would love to get into accessories, shoes I’m hesitant to do. But right now I’m focusing on this line and perfecting it before I move on."

Last season all of Lauren's dresses were named after a different friend, but this season she "totally ran out of friends," Lauren joked. "At this point, we're going through baby name websites."
