LC To Design Emmy Trophy Girls' Dresses

Lauren Conrad may get a lot of flack for not being a hands-on designer, but at least she's getting gigs!  She's been named the designer of the couture gowns the Emmy trophy girls will don for the 60th Annual Awards this September 21st. 

LC says, "I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year's Emmy Awards. I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist." 

Executive Producer of the Emmy's Ken Ehrlich says, "We are very excited to have someone as talented as Lauren Conrad working with us to help make this a very memorable and exciting show."
