Who Stole The Show At \"Glee\" Premiere: Kate or Lea?
The fourth season of “Glee” took place at the Paramount Studios in LA yesterday. Except instead of over-the-top-musical numbers, the stars let their outfits do the singing.

Lea Michele’s character Rachel Berry on the high school television show is an over-achieving drama queen—and the same could be said for her look on the red carpet on Wednesday.

Lea stepped out in a velvety black and lace Versace dress with cut outs that wrapped around her waist and back, hugging her figure to A+ perfection with a revealing wide plunge at the neck. Ring ring, hi Lea, Jennifer Lopez called, she wants her cleavage back.

However a lower grade for the hair and makeup. Smoky eye on Lea is beginning to put me into a free period slumber and those messy bangs are looking a little Tardy for the Party. C+, babe. Which isn’t so harsh. Remember that reliable excuse you’d always tell your parents? C+ means “satisfactory”!

Overall, it had a workable vampiric dose of old school Hollywood that like her character, attempted to steal the show last night. It was a close contender if only… Kate Hudson wasn’t there in an Alexander McQueen suit.

The 33-year-old starlet, who has a celeb guest appearance on the new season, stole the spotlight, glowing in a black and white trouser suit with Brian Atwood heels. Clearly, Kate’s been keeping up with New York Fashion Week—black and white is totally on trend for spring/summer 2013.

When she’s not giving fashion lessons to the young cast on the carpet, Kate will have a six episode run on “Glee” as Cassandra July, an alcoholic dance instructor.
