Leighton Meester Named New Face of Herbal Essences

Newly single Leighton Meester has landed herself a brand new gig! The Gossip Girl star has been named the face of Herbal Essences. Leighton will be the haircare company’s global ambassador!

She tells WWD, “My first memory is those iconic [Herbal Essences] commercials back in the day. My mom used it, too.”

We wonder if Leighton will be featured in one of those hysterical shower scene commercials! “I try different looks and I’m happy that I can achieve them and not look like a clown. I like to have fun with hair and makeup,” Meester says.

Leighton thinks it’s important not to stress about your looks all the time. She says, “I’m lucky because expressing my personal style is fun and I have fun with it. Everyone should love their own look. Don’t copy; do your own thing.”
