Creating her footwear will be luxury shoe designer, Rupert Sanderson. “He's making me a pair of flats and a pair of heels, so I can run up and down hills. It's much chicer to have two pairs I think...

Karl Lagerfeld showed of his collection to a celeb packed crowd as always.
Celebs like Lily Allen, Kanye West, Alexa Chung, and Florence Welch were all front row for Karl's black themed show.
"The world is a dark place," said Lagerfeld after the Chanel show.
The setting of the show was very dark and dramatic and so was the collection. There were a lot of black and bulky pieces along with a touch of masculinity.
What do you guys think of the collection? Fabulous as always!

Karl decided to drop Lily as the face of of Chanel Handbags because of her hard partying lifestyle.
Lily's contract expired last year and Lagerfeld didn't renew it. He decided to sign Johnny Depp's lady love, Vanessa Paradis.
A Chanel spokesperson said: "Lily was the face, but now it is Vanessa."
Lily and Karl used to be very close. They often partied together, but Karl must really be over Lily since he didn't even invite her to his party during the Cannes Film Festival.
A source said: "Karl had a show and a party, but Lily was not invited. It was Karl's way of making it clear she is no longer a part of the Chanel family. He instructed his people not to invite her.
"He is very strict about who can represent the brand and there is a feeling that Lily is too much of a party girl."
Lily Allen is like the British version of Lindsay Lohan. Funny thing is that the two of the hot messes are friends.

Lily insists she’s serious this time, and will be focusing her time on opening up a vintage shop called Lucy In Disguise with her half sister Sarah Owen. “I’m not making another album for a bit,” she said. “Maybe in five years.”
She isn’t leaving the industry completely behind however—just wants to explore other opportunities. “It’s not retiring. I’m just doing a different job for a bit. I’m having a career change. I just want to stay in London for a while. It’s not a particularly healthy lifestyle being on the road.”
As for what exactly Lily will be up to now, she says, “I’m setting up a record label and a music charity and website and I’m also doing a vintage clothes shop with my sister, it’s amazing stuff that would be really expensive but we’re renting it out for a fraction of the price, so girls can come and get dressed up for a night out and have a laugh!”
It seems like Lily is also interested in taking the next step with her boyfriend, builder Sam Cooper. She says, “I’ve got a boyfriend and I’ve got a house and I’d quite like to have children soon. So it doesn’t really work into those plans.”
We’ll see how long this lasts!

Allen just recently unveiled the new line at London’s swanky Claridges hotel and spoke to reporters about her inspiration behind the line, her "gypsy" grandmother.
“Firstly there’s the coin collection, which is a nod to my gypsy past,” she added. “My grandmother was a proper gypsy, and I have inherited quite a lot of her pieces.
“I was so excited when I was asked to design a jewelry collection,” she said. “I was in New York and literally went straight out to a bookshop and bought about 40 reference books, on everything from antique jewelry to modern-day bling.
“Then I went through them and chose loads of things that inspired me. I sent them to the designers with annotations on how I wanted the pieces to look and how to update them.
“I had no idea about how to design a coherent collection so I asked my old friend, jewelry designer Solange Azagury-Partridge, what to do. I have always loved her stuff. She told me to design different ranges within the collection.”
The jewelry line, which features gem-studded animal and flower designs, ranges between $60-100 dollars and is expected to go on sale in stores in September.

He’s just picked Lily to be the next face of Chanel. Elle UK states that it’s not all that surprising since Lily is always seated first row at his shows, and barely leaves the house without one of her Chanel bags.
Lily will front the new handbag campaign, and the two will shoot next week in London. So why Lily?
Karl says, “She’s fun!”
Oh, she’s fun all right! And to Lily’s defense, she looks the most put-together we’ve ever seen her! Maybe being the face of the handbag line will motivate Lily to stay classy.
Karl Lagerfeld going for the young and fun girl poses the question: Is he trying to target a younger demographic? And if so, is he gonna target the younger demographics budget?
An average girl is not gonna be able to afford a $2500 especially at a time of an economic recession. Karl has previously mentioned that he doesn't care to change his prices due to the economy, but has he had a change of heart?

Lily showed her new blonde hair-do last night when she attended the Royal Albert Hall for Noel Fielding's concert for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Blondes may have more fun, but it doesn’t always suit everyone.
We love Lily as a brunette, the dark color works better with her features and works well with her hard ass attitude. If anything, she could have added natural low-lights that could have worked well with the season. What are you're thoughts? Do you prefer Lilly as a Blonde or a Brunette?

Is the world coming to an end? Who would have ever thought that Camilla Parker-Bowles would be setting a trend? The woman is known to wear the wackiest hats on the planet and now London’s Young stars are following in her footsteps.
Last night British sensation Lily Allen was spotted sporting a peacock on her head. If this trend hits Los Angeles were going to have a big problem.
