Ungaro: Lindsay's Debut Was a Disaster

Everyone and their mother has commented on Lindsay Lohan’s debut as the fashion advisor for Ungaro. She showed the line last month at Fashion Week in Paris, and critics ripped her to shreds.

And as if that wasn’t enough, founder of the couture house himself, Emanuel Ungaro, has now slammed Lindsay’s handiwork. At a film festival in Lisbon last night, Ungaro said, "Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster."

He went on to say he no longer has any ties to the fashion house that bears his name, and that it’s "in the process of losing its soul.”

"I am furious but I can't do anything about it.”

Ungaro says he’s actually not surprised his fashion house is going down the drain. "That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."
