Hugh Laurie Named New Face of L'Oreal Paris

Hugh Laurie has been named as a new face of the L'Oreal Paris line of men's cosmetics, joining other handsome men like Patrick Dempsey and Gerard Butler who will all represent its “Men Expert” line.

Nothing says under-eye brightener like the grumpy vicodin addicted doctor on “House.”

L'Oreal's global brand president chose Laurie because he is “the perfect example of a modern man: genuine, uninhibited, strong and willing to pursue his passions to the end.”

The cosmetics brand released a video featuring Laurie being his charming and funny self and talking about being named the new face of L'Oreal. He jokes, “My name is Gerard Butler and this is how I look before I've applied L'Oreal's skin care for men.”

He also quips, “I am very flattered to have been thought a fit subject to promote the whole idea of beauty…In here, inside, I am a model.”

L'oreal for men. What's next, AXE body spray for women? Actually, Snooki would make a great spokesperson for that brand.
