Louis Vuitton Named World's Most Expensive Luxury Brand
The French fashion house, home to the signature LV monogram, has been named the world’s most valuable luxury brand. For the seventh year in a row, Louis Vuitton has been worth more than any other fashion house.

The brand is valued at $25.9 billion. Followed by Hermes at $19.1 billion and Swiss watchmakers Rolex in third, valued at $7.17 billion.

The numbers are combined with consumer interviews to rank the luxury brands.
A Train Rides Through The Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 Show
All aboard Louis Vuitton Express! No seriously, head designed Marc Jacobs commissioned a train for the LV Fall 2012 showcase.

Models hopped off the train and stomped down the runway, each girl was accompanied by an old-fashioned porter to carry her luggage, this is a LV show after all, where luggage is arguably more important than clothes.

Louis Vuitton Suing "The Hangover" Movie?
Fashion House Louis Vuitton is reportedly suing the producers of the movie “The Hangover II” because they use a fake LV purse in the movie.

Zach Galifianakis’s character reportedly carries what is a knock-off LV, but as the audience we don’t know that, I mean, I’m sure if any member of the Vuitton family or any of The Real Housewives of Atlanta watched this flick they would notice the difference, but the kind of people who think The Hangover II was funny, would not know the difference.
Miranda Kerr Goes 1950's Chic For Opening of Louis Vuitton Store
Miranda Kerr traded in her angel wings and $2.5 million dollar bra for a chic Mad Men look at yesterday's opening of a new Louis Vuitton store in Sydney, Australia.

The model mommy wore a black and grey patterned dress with a full skirt that was inspired by the demure fashion of the 1950's.

The usually tiny model seemed to be more endowed in the chest than usual, and no, don't start the plastic surgery rumors. She says she has her son Flynn to thank for her new boobs.

"It's milking time. I'm still breast feeding. I'm pumping, and it's going well," Kerr tells the NY Post.

Other celebs who stopped by the opening of the new LV store included Cate Blanchett, who was the guest of honor and had the prestigious task of cutting the ribbon.
Louis Vuitton Robbed!
So much drama happening in the fashion world lately. Louis Vuitton is the latest fashion house to be subject to burglary, giving new meaning to the phrase, A Crime of Fashion.

More than $400,000 worth of Louis Vuitton merchandise was stolen from the LV store at the Charles de Gaulle airport last week. Quick, call the Fashion Police!

On Friday, a gang of masked thieves overwhelmed a security guard and four employees and broke into the airport location store and walked away with two cars full of LV goods. Oh also, they held the LV employees hostage, while they took their sweet time loading up 10 pallets full of the expensive goods. No details are known but the Parisian police are looking into the theft.
Louis Vuitton Launching Signature Perfume
Finally you can smell like Louis Vuitton. Surprisingly, the french design house hasn't had a signature fragrance since the 1920's but is planning to create one again.

So if you already own a bottle of perfume trying to pass itself off as Vuitton, it's definitely a knock-off and probably sold in the garment district of downtown LA or somewhere in Asia.

LV has nabbed the third generation perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud away from his job at Swiss fragrance supplier Firmenich. Jacques hails from the South of France and is expecting to start working in January on the brands signature fragrance. "[Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud will] start work at the leather goods powerhouse in January," says Women's Wear Daily.
Angelina Jolie Wears No Makeup For Louis Vuitton Ad
Angelina Jolie appears in a new Louis Vuitton ad, sans make-up and wearing her own clothes.

Jolie’s ad for LV is part of their “core values” campaign, which aims to show celebs toting their own LV bags in an attempt to widen their audience with a less high fashion centered brand and one focusing more on travel and craftsmanship.

For the Annie Leibovitz shot ad, Jolie wears her own casual clothes and carries her own personal 6 year-old Alto Vuitton bag.
Glamour Cover Girls Ashley, Freida and Emma Party in Louis Vuitton

Last night, Glamour cover girls Ashley Greene, Freida Pinto and Emma Stone all attended Louis Vuitton’s party to celebrate their May covers and to preview the new collection.

The three ladies were sporting different looks from the Louis Vuitton collection.

Ashley Greene mixed preppy and edgy by sporting Louis Vuitton leather pants with a blouse and cardigan. Love the mix! She spiced up her outfit with a multi-colored clutch from the spring 2011 collection.

Emma Stone was all about looking sexy and glamorous last night wearing a beautiful dress from the Louis Vuitton pre-fall collection. It looked great on her because she is not big busted. If someone with big boobs wore that dress it would lose its appeal.

Freida Pinto showed off her sexy legs by wearing a look from the Fall 2011 Collection. I loved that she covered up the top, but showed off legs. It was a great balance. The red lips were the icing on the cake.

Which look fits most with your personality?

Angelina Jolie Scores $6 Million Dollar Modeling Gig
St. John who? Angelina Jolie has scored a modeling gig most people would kill to have.

Jolie has signed on to be the new face of Louis Vuitton.

The best part of her deal is that she's reportedly going to earn “close to $6 million” for the modeling contract and the contract is for print-only. Somewhere, some child is jumping for joy because of this 7-figure deal. That means humanitarian Angie gets to feed more hungry people.

Other famous faces that have modeled for the French label are Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Bono, Uma Thurman and many more.

Seeing that all those celebs have endorsed Louis Vuitton, I'm surprised it took so long for Jolie to score this gig.
Louis Vuitton Photographs Annie Leibovitz
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz is used to being on the other side of the camera. But fashion house Louis Vuitton decided they wanted to portray Annie as their new model for their ad campaign.

Annie posed with ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshikov in a photo portraying the behind-the-scenes look from a shoot. The tag line of the picture, taking in Annie’s New York studio, reads: “The journey of a star, captured in a flash.”

Louis Vuitton communication director Antoine Arnault tells WWD, “She’s a real, pure, 100 percent artist. We’ve always been very committed to her, to her talent… She just gets in [her subjects'] souls. This campaign has really become almost a saga.”

The photo will be a part of LV’s Spring/Summer spots, which will debut February 1st.
