How Much Did it Cost Madonna to Strike a Pose on 'Vogue'?

She danced in front of a 100 million people, across a hundred Vogue covers while performing her own hit ‘Vogue’ on Sunday. So how much did it cost her to license the cover of the famous fashion magazine? Not a single penny.
Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was so thrilled to have Vogue be such a huge part of the show, she happily agreed to license the logo over to Madge.
“We’re so very grateful to Madonna to have been part of such a spectacular performance,” Wintour said. “We naturally expect a new audience of football fans.”
I don’t know about gaining football fans out of it, but it definitely made a statement.
Madonna reached out to Vogue in early January to get permission to use their logo during her show, and because of their long-standing relationship, Vogue was happy to be involved. It didn’t hurt that they got a ton of free advertising out of it. But I bet M.I.A. won’t be featured in the magazine anytime soon. Or like ever.
During the show Madonna showed off various Givenchy designed outfits, which is pretty Vogue in itself, so overall, it was a very Vogue-ish performance.
