Madonna Names the Winner of the Material Girl \"Lucky Stars\" Campaign
Madonna and her daughter Lourdes (Lola) have a collection of funky teen clothes at Macy’s called “Material Girl” and instead of searching for models for the brand or using their past celeb spokeswoman Kelly Osbourne, the talented family has set out on a search to find that one regular girl that embodies what it means to be “the next Material Girl.”

The criteria is as follows: Must not be Lady Gaga, must not be M.I.A. That’s about it.

However, the talent pool was so great that Madonna and Lourdes named three girls as the winner: Samantha Titus, Katrina Arandjelovic, and Kimberly Perry.

The winning girls will appear in the marketing campaign for the collection and Lola and Madonna says, “We set out to find someone who embodied the Material Girl lifestyle – a free spirited girl with an interest in fashion, who isn’t afraid to express herself and let her true personality shine through.”

These girls embody the funky, indie, hip vibe that Madonna and Lola have worked so hard to create for the collection. According to Lola, the search for that perfect model “isn’t all superficial, we look at their personality, the way they carry themselves, what their attitude is.”

Lola was joined by former face of the brand, Kelly Osbourne and guest judge Perez Hilton on their nationwide tour to find that It-girl. They toured malls across America while girls lined up to strut their stuff for Lola and co.

Material Girl is available exclusively at Macys.
