Summer is right around the corner, which means it’s time to buy a brand new pair of sunglasses! Madonna has reportedly made a deal with Dolce & Gabbana to design a new range of eyewear for the brand!

According to WWD, Madge will co-design six pairs of sunglasses that will have the letters “MDG” on them. The collection will reportedly include retro black plastic shades and gold-and-silver metal frames. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana sketched and shipped designs for more than 50 styles of frames to Madonna for review.

Gabbana told WWD, "We're so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. [Madonna] is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception."

In addition, Madonna is featured in the company’s spring ad campaign. She seems to be showing a huge interest in fashion lately—not only is she launching her own fashion line called “Material Girl,” but her manager Guy Oseary just announced plans to form a joint venture with Iconix Brand Group, which includes Candie's and Roca Wear. Under the MG Icon partnership, Madonna will lend her name and likeness to the "Material Girl" junior's line and Macy's this fall.

Keep it coming, Madge!
