Rihanna may have replaced Megan Fox as the new body of Armani Jeans and Armani underwear, but Fox is still fulfilling her Armani duties as the new face for the Giorgio Armani Beauty ads.

Fox, who apparently is having a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe removed from her arm, is channelling that exact kind of old-Hollywood glamour in her Armani Beauty Christmas campaign.

She glows in pale skin, bright red lips and finger waves in her hair.

In each shot she wears a little black dress and looks like she stepped out of a engagement ring commercial form the 1940's. You know the kind. Those engagement ring commercials that always surface around the Holidays and make single people feel bad about themselves?

When Fox last posed for the brand for their jeans and underwear campaigns, she was stripped down to her skivvies for full body shots. However, these new ads focus only on her heavily made-up face. Could this all be part of Megan's new look? She recently claimed she's sick of being a sex symbol and wants to tone down her image, in the hopes of getting more "serious" acting roles. Basically, she's sick of playing "the hot girl" the "dumb girl" the "dumb but hot girl" and also "the bitch who is also hot"

It's part of the reason why she's having her Marilyn Monroe tattoo removed.

"I'm removing it," Fox told Italian magazine Amica, "She was a negative person, she was disturbed, bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."

While Fox channels Liz Taylor in these ads, she says her style icon is Ava Gardner.

"My definition of beauty is simplicity, elegance and sensuality. Ava Gardner is my beauty icon. I think that when a woman is in harmony with herself and remains true to her values, she will glow naturally. Femininity doesn't depend on what you wear or how you look. It's an attitude," she tells Marie Claire.

While she's drenched in make-up for these new ads, she's one of those rare breed of women usually reserved for freaky runway models that actually looks perfect without makeup on.

"Even when I'm working I don't like wearing too much make-up, but when I'm on my own I go bare-faced as I like to give me skin a rest."

Fox can be seen in the flick "Friends With Kids" which is making it's way around the indie film circuit currently. She's also set to work on Judd Apatow's new project "This Is 40" which also stars Jason Segal.
