M.I.A.'s New Clothing Line

M.I.A. aka Maya Arulpragasam, was so inspired by Marc Jacobs, that she decided to create her own clothing line. She was the model for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 line, but said she couldn't wear MJ because she's always on the road or on tour, and his clothes are too nice. So she started her own line, which she says is the only thing she's been wearing lately.

It includes bomber jackets, leggings, and t-shirts with graphic prints. Maya says, "With my stuff, because everything's really bright, if you lose it or someone steals it, you can see it from miles away and you can be like, 'Oy! Give me my shirt back!'"
