Michelle Obama is the first First Lady to wow us with her fashion choices. I mean, Laura Bush's fashion choices consisted of powder blue or dark red? Hilary Clinton never saw a pant suit she didn’t love. But Michelle Obama is like the CFDA’s best friend.

Of course Mrs. Obama loves to wear Michael Kors, Jason Wu, and more established brands like Balenciaga, Peter Som and Sonia Rykiel but she’s also rocking tons of brand new up-and-coming designers like Preen, Band of Outsiders, Wes Gordon and Lyn Devon.

Michelle is all sorts of Presidential fabulous, she ditched her Target fashion, moved into J.Crew territory for a while, and now she’s classically chic.

Let’s take a look at some of her recent fashion choices.

Michelle rocked a colorful green and aqua Chris Benz sundress with a mustard colored belt and some turquoise flats on July 10.

I love this high-waisted floral midi-skirt by Boy. by Band of Outsiders. She paired it with a black tank and dropped about 10 years off her age with this shoulder baring look. She also paired the outfit with black ballet flats.

Earlier in June, the First Lady wore a vibrant checker print Preen dress paired with a pale yellow blazer and a pearl necklace. It was a fresh twist on the typical white-house outfit.

Michelle also wowed us in another Boy. by Band of Outsiders look. A floral blue and white tea length dress with a pale blue cardigan.

Michelle’s most elegant look is this camel-colored Zac Posen fitted dress with a matching blazer.
