Who is Jason Wu?

Michelle Obama made her choice and it was not long before this slightly off the radar young designer would be the name heard around the world.

So who is Jason Wu? At just 26 years old Wu is a New York designer, who has only been designing for three years!

Within these three years Wu has impressed some very important people. He was a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, and is featured heavily in the fashion magazine.

Last night during the live coverage of the Ball, a very surprised Wu called into CNN where he told Cambell Brown that he was just as surprised as everyone else.

Wu had no idea that the First Lady was going to wear the gown until she came out for the first time. Wu was asked by Michelle's Stylist to design three gowns for the First Lady.

Michelle’s choice has no doubt changed the young designer forever, so we shall keep our eyes peeled for more to come from Jason Wu.
