After dining at Wokcano Restaurant in West Hollywood on Friday, Miley stepped outside and was snapped by paparazzi with a new shorter haircut.
It’s nothing drastic, but it is the first time that the young star has cut her hair in ages. Okay, to be specific, she cut her hair in June of 2010 to a similar length, for what she called a “more mature look.” Also, how sad is it that I know the dates and details of all of Miley Cyrus’s haircuts. So tragic, right?

Jennifer Lawrence: Jennifer Lawrence got a little daring with her red carpet look. In a blue Viktor & Rolf cutout dress, the part-mesh/part-blue swirls was channeling the ocean and also, the smurfs? I can't tell If I hate it, or want to high-five her for being unique?

The stars showed up to honor these individuals and looked their best to honor this year's individuals.
Miley Cyrus: 19-year-old Cyrus has been debuting a more adult look recently. The former Disney tween wore a stunning Roberto Cavalli gown in pale yellow but her boobs were popping out!

Katy Perry: Katy Perry walked up to the VMA’s twirling a parasol to hopefully shield herself from herself? Katy wore a pastel kimono type mini-dress by Atelier Versace with puffballs detailing and pink strappy sandals that that I’m sure were stolen from the set of Legally Blonde but am shocked to reveal that they were actually Jimmy Choo’s. The puffballs, combined with her hot pink hair made her look like a cupcake.
Miley Cyrus: Miley was wearing a backless floor length blue Roberto Cavalli gown that was animal print on the top and, wait for it, floral on the bottom. For when you can’t decide which pattern of crazy you want to go with.

Murad credits Miley for putting him on the radar with the big boys. Miley wore a beautiful Zuhair Murad gown to the Oscars in 2009 and things just took off after that.

The most exciting part of a big award show is seeing what the stars are going to wear on the red carpet.
Although there weren't many that really impressed me this year, I managed to pick the top three that still had the WOW factor.
Below is my best dressed list in that order!
Jennifer Hudson:
Jennifer was the one star that stood out on the carpet at the Grammys! She didn’t need to wear a funky costume to get attention. Instead she wore an elegant yet sexy navy Versace dress and kept her hair chip chop straight. Her new body looked fabulous in that dress and she definitely tops my best-dressed list.
Miley Cyrus:
For once Miley Cyrus looked her age! She looked really cute in her long shimmery tiger-print Cavalli dress. She matched her dress with a bunch of bracelets to give her an edgier look. Her hair was simple with a half up do showing off her extra long hair extensions. As for her color, she might wanna consider hiring a new colorist because that orange color is not hot!
Jennifer Lopez:
When Jennifer Lopez arrives to a red carpet, all eyes are on her! Her hair extensions were super long, her dress was super short and her heels were extra high. Everyone might have been wearing long dresses to the Grammys this year, but J.Lo was all about showing leg. That’s why you gotta love her! She doesn’t go with what “everyone” is wearing, but with what feels and looks good on her that day. The Grammys are all about having fun and her short shiny dress was just that…fun!

Miley is auctioning off a ton of clothing and accessories on eBay and will donate the proceeds to the Get Ur Good On organization.
She said: “For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music.
“And that’s something that’s really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities.”
A little info on Get Ur Good On: the charity aims to help connect young people with volunteering opportunities in their local communities, and Miley believes it is a good way to show charity begins at home.
She added: “You don’t have to travel 30 hours... you don’t have to give a billion dollars. It’s not about how much or how far, it’s about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help.
“It isn’t just stuff that’s all over the world, it’s right here, it’s right next to you. It’s important to get involved.” The auction is due to take place at the end of August.
Miley does have a pretty awesome wardrobe, and with the proceeds going to charity, it's almost a crime against fashion NOT to bid on something!

Miley has been making headlines these past few weeks because of the way she has been dressing during her performances.
With her new album, “Can’t Be Tamed” Miley is growing up and showing the world that she is no longer a teen queen.
Miley Fires Back at "Idiot" Perez Hilton
Her stylist is coming to her defense on the way she has been dressing saying that its just Miley growing up.
“Miley’s style is a natural progression of her growing up and being influenced by the music that inspires her,” the singer’s stylist, Simone Harouche, tells People Magazine.
“The album cover was basically a strong statement saying in the most simple way, that she can’t be tamed–literally and metaphorically,” explains Harouche. So where is her stylist getting all her leather gear? “[Miley] is really into leather,” says Harouche. “Robins Jeans leather jacket is such a cool staple piece: It’s embellished without being overly done and the fit is amazing. It’s the perfect example of rock ’n’ roll clothing.”
Miley is just another 17-year old trying to find herself. She has the luxury to do it with her albums so let her just do it!

BEST DRESSED:
• Miley Cyrus took home the best-dressed award for her champagne colored Jenny Packham gown. She looked absolutely radiant in the dress, which she paired with jeweled earrings and a simple updo.
• Kate Winslet looked gorgeous as always in her YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) couture gown. Kate is the epitome of class and looked flawless in her gown, so she's definitely in the best-dressed list.
• Does Demi Moore ever age? She looked beautiful in her nude Atelier Versace ruffle gown, which she paired with a clutch and teardrop earrings.
• Lady of the evening, Sandra Bullock literally shined on the red carpet in her Marchesa gown. She looked like she was ready to go home with more than just the best-dressed award!
• 'Avatar' star Zoe Saldana needs a new stylist for recommending the gown she wore on the red carpet. She's such a gorgeous girl and this tie-died dress was not working for her! It looked like she was wearing two different dresses, the top was gorgeous but the bottom needed to go!
• Diane Kruger looked like she was ready to herd sheep in this Chanel dress. Big No-No!
• Sarah Jessica Parker is known to be a trendsetter, but this big bird inspired Chanel gown failed to impress us. What was she thinking?? And her hair looked bigger than her dress, she looked like she was about to tip over!

These stars played it so safe they didn't make it on our best or worst dressed, but deserve a mention anyway.
• 'Up in the Air' star Anna Kendrick looked lovely in her Elie Saab nude dress, but it was so nude it almost went unnoticed. Considering it was her big night, she should have played it up a little.
• Mariah Carey looked nice on the carpet, but it resembled a bridesmaid dress for an Armenian wedding. Not her best look.
• Mo'Nique hid her hairy legs under this royal blue Grecian-inspired Tadashi Shoji dress. The color was gorgeous, but the dress failed to make it on our best-dressed list.
Jennifer Lopez and Amanda Seyfriend's stylists have some explaining to do. They both wore very similar Armani Prive gown to the Oscars this year. Same looking dress, same material. Not a great idea!
