Proving that she’s just as fashionable ridiculous as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj puts on her favorite crazy Barbie outfits and changes her wig several times for the photoshoot for her nail polish line.
In one image she dresses in a silver geometric ensemble that screams, “Put me on top of the Christmas Tree” and in another segment she’s dressed all in pink with fairy wings that screams “I missed out on Halloween when I was 7.”
The OPI video clip features snippets from Minaj’s most famous music videos, intercut with behind the scenes footage from her nailpolish photoshoot.

The colorful artist will release her own polish collection with OPI and will hit shelves in January 2012.
The collection includes a metallic shine called "Metal For Life" which is a play on her song title, "Moment For Life." There's a confetti color called "Save." A lime green called "Did it on 'Em" which is actually a title of one of her songs. A bright purple called "Super Bass Shatter." A sky blue titled "Fly." And of course, an iridescent pink called "Pink Friday," named after her debut studio album.
OPI loves collaborations. While a nail polish is still just a nail polish regardless of it's celeb endorsement, a lot of celebs like to lend their name to nail polish bottles, because blue nail polish is WAAAAYYY different that Nicki Minaj blue nail polish.

New York Fashion week starts in less than three weeks, and in maybe the biggest makeup news, we’ve just found out that Alexander Wang will team up with Sally Hansen to create his very own color collection. I’m guessing the meeting went something like this:
REP: So, Alexander. What colors do you want?
WANG: I’m thinking black. Also probably black. And…uh, did I already mention black?
REP: Can you think of some other colors you might want?
WANG: Hmmm…(thinks for a long time)…Onyx.
Celebs like Gaga, Rihanna and Fergie have been sporting super short and long nails in recent months and aside from being a good weapon, there is absolutely nothing appealing about them.

Every summer, we pick one nail polish color that we OBSESS over for a few months and we have been left confused this season.
Chanel released their collection of deep plums, chocolate grays, and a lot of khakis.
So now we’re split! Do we wear these colors or stick to the pastels and pinks? We’re digging to neutral tones and everyone knows you can’t go wrong with pinks during the summer time! So guess we gotta alternate!

Our fave makeup mecca Sephora has decided to team up with the polish giant to create a new line of nail color called Sephora by OPI. They call it a fashion-forward, wearable nail color line for the modern woman who is looking for an effective, safe, environmentally conscious brand.
They've already got 54 colors to choose from too! It's $9 a bottle, which won't break the bank either. And to answer your question, yes, they've gone the creative route and come up with some pretty smashing names. We'd stick with Arm Candy until Summer's end, and dip into Don't Go There come Fall.

What makes this even better, is that the 4-some is named after everyone's favorite shopping street (and celeb hangout) Robertson!
