Naomi Campbell Stars in New Model Reality Show \"The Face\"
Unlike “America’s Next Top Model” which, I think, aims to find a model who wants to “be on top,” Oxygen is launching another version of the model-search reality show genre called “The Face”, which will find the next spokesperson for a nationally recognized brand.

The show will put three supermodels as coaches as they mold, nurture and transform the contestants. The first supermodel announced to be joining the show is veteran and iconic model Naomi Campbell.

The premise of “The Face” is that the models will be divided into teams, each team led by their supermodel coach, until one undiscovered talent emerges the winner. If it sounds like the model version of “The Voice,” you would be right.

The contestants will be led through photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America’s best-known brands.

“I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world,” says Naomi, “With ‘The Face’ the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me. One lucky girl will become the face of a major brand."

This marks Campbell’s latest small-screen gig. Who knows, maybe she’ll be joined by the axed judges on America’s Next Top Model? Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel, and J. Alexander all need a new home, could they find their place on “The Face?”
