Narcisco Rodriguez to Design Claire Danes' Wedding Gown

It’s good to have designers as friends. Especially when you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle. Claire Danes is gearing up for her wedding to Hugh Dancy, and has asked her longtime friend to design her gown. And that friend happens to be Narciso Rodriguez.

Claire and Narcisco arrived at the CFDA Fashion Awards Monday night arm in arm. Claire said of Rodriguez that he’s “very cheeky and playful and funny, kind and dear . . . one of my dear friends. Any excuse to hang out with him is welcome.”

She also revealed that he’s the designer of her wedding dress, saying, “He’s making it. I get weepy…more emotional than I was expecting. It’s intimate. It’s amazing. I’m so privileged. I’m collaborating a little bit, but I’m just trusting him implicitly. I’m offering my ideas, but they always pale in comparison to his.”

And Narcisco couldn’t hide his own feelings for Claire, saying, “She’s an extraordinary woman inside and out. That always comes through. You can’t hide it. I just try to make her look more beautiful. And it’s not hard to make her look beautiful.”

We can’t wait to see what he comes up with! But like Narcisco said, it’s not hard for Claire Danes to look good!
