The Hollywood Reporter lists the 25 most powerful stylists of this year and has named Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz stylist Kate Young as the #1 most powerful stylist in the US!

Charlize Theron and her stylist Leslie Fremar appear on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter Style issue, even though stylist Leslie came in at #2 on the coveted list.

But let’s talk about Kate Young, the best damn stylist in Hollywood. If you remember the 2011 Oscars/Golden Globes/SAG Awards, she made a pregnant Natalie Portman look chic week after week. Young was also a former assistant to Vogue editor Anna Wintour and if you remember anything about “The Devil Wears Prada,” it’s obvious that Young went through hell and back with that job. She deserves everything.

Other notable stylists on the list include Deb Waknin (#9) who allowed Sofia Vergara to skyrocket to superstardom in her figure hugging stunning strapless gowns.

Petra Flannery (#3) dresses both Emma Stone and Mila Kunis and is the reason that Emma landed a Revlon gig and Mila is the new face of Dior.

Leslie Fremar (#2) who I mentioned before, has all of A-List sophisticated Hollywood on speed dial. She dresses Charlize Theron, Julianne Moore, Reese Witherspoon and Scarlett Johansson. Fremar got her big break styling her first client Salma Hayek back in 2004.

Rachel Zoe topped this exact list last year, but was excluded from it this year, because basically she’s just too famous. She’s a stylist, but also a designer and a reality star and a “personality” and she could probably top this list for the next 10 years and that just wouldn’t be fair. However, her protégé, former assistant, and now arch nemesis Brad Goreski landed on the list at #20.

Brad’s clients include Jessica Alba, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph and Demi Moore, but his “power” comes from his reality show, “It’s a Brad, Brad World,” and his memoir, “Born to Be Brad.” Also, Brad puns. He’s real good at making Brad puns.
