Nicki Minaj to Get Her Own OPI Nail Polish Line

According to a nail polish blog (where there's a will, there's a blog) Nicki Minaj will get her own nail polish line.

The colorful artist will release her own polish collection with OPI and will hit shelves in January 2012.

The collection includes a metallic shine called "Metal For Life" which is a play on her song title, "Moment For Life." There's a confetti color called "Save." A lime green called "Did it on 'Em" which is actually a title of one of her songs. A bright purple called "Super Bass Shatter." A sky blue titled "Fly." And of course, an iridescent pink called "Pink Friday," named after her debut studio album.

OPI loves collaborations. While a nail polish is still just a nail polish regardless of it's celeb endorsement, a lot of celebs like to lend their name to nail polish bottles, because blue nail polish is WAAAAYYY different that Nicki Minaj blue nail polish.

Katy Perry: Katy Perry has a small collection with OPI in colors that resemble her hair colors. The light pinks, silver and sparkly blue are sold with a black "shatter" shade, which makes a baby blue nail seem more edgy.

Serena Williams: Serena is one of the sisters of that Venus and Serena duo. It really doesn't matter which sister endorsed the nail polish collection, because they're one in the same really, but Serena's OPI collection are actually kind of subtle. A plain purple, gold, silver, and red. Her line is billed as "Glam Slam."

The Muppets: While they aren't a traditional celebrity. The muppets have their own nail polish. Each of the colors is hilarious titled after a character. There's a fuscia paint called "Meep-Meep-Meep," another pink called, "Wocka Wocka" and a red confetti called "Getting Miss Piggy With It." Love the nails? What color are you wearing? Meep-Meep-Meep.

The Kardashian: The Kardashians are set to launch a Nicole by OPI collection this Holiday season and like everything else in their brand, they change all hard hard "C's" to "K's." So this Kollection of Kolors will launch just in time for Khristmas. Uggghh, that sh-t makes me Kringe. The Kolors have silly titles like "Khloe Had A Little Lam-Lam" and "Kourt is Red-Y For A Pedi." Sorry, I'm just trying to digest that whole "Lam Lam" thing.

Justin Bieber: Bieber also has a nail polish line with Nicole by OPI (Who is this Nicole, by the way?). What does a hetereosexual 17-year-old male know about nailpolish? Probably nothing, but his management teams sure knows how to whore out his name and make a buck. The Bieber nail polish line is called "One Less Lonely Girl Collection" off the title of one of his songs. The rest of the polishes are Bieber puns like "I'm a Belieber" and "'Baby' Blue."
